This monumental heliodor represents one of the most commanding examples of the species from the classic Volodarsk-Volynskii district. Exceptional for its sheer scale, the crystal is further distinguished by its superb quality and beauty. Characteristic to its locality, it has heavily “etched” faces. These etched faces create hundreds of minute reflective planes, producing a scintillating effect that is only possible with its reflective luster that brings the specimen to life under light.
The color is deep and richly saturated, ranging through intense golden-yellow tones, while the interior retains a high degree of clarity for a crystal of this size.
